Psychological Evaluation

An initial evaluation most commonly includes an interview with parents or guardian and an interview and/or observation of the child. The evaluation may include completion of self, parent, and teacher-report measures. These forms are used to gather additional information from what may be gained from an interview. This allows for more thorough assessment of attentional, emotional, and/or behavioral difficulties, from multiple raters in different settings. Read more about our evaluation process.

Testing

Psychological Testing includes the administration of formal psychological testing measures, such as "IQ" or cognitive, achievement, personality, and/or behavioral testing. Read more about our psychological testing services.

Treatment

Treatment varies in frequency and duration depending on the concerns leading to treatment. At the first appointment, your/your child's psychologist will make preliminary treatment recommendations based on the initial impressions. A plan of care will be decided together with you/your child. Generally, appointments are scheduled one or two at a time on a biweekly basis. Read more about our treatment approach.
